Kennedy’s Zoom Birthday Party

We celebrated Kennedy’s second birthday with a Zoom birthday party! We originally planned to have her birthday at the Audubon Zoo in uptown New Orleans. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus pandemic changed all that. So we made lemonade with our birthday party lemons life gave us, and instead of turning “Two at the Zoo”, Kennedy turned “Two on Zoom”…and it was adorable as ever!

Kennedy's Zoom Birthday Party — Calling all party animals! Our families, all from Georgia or Massachusetts, joined us on Zoom to celebrate. Kennedy opened presents, blew out her candles, and got to see her family…it was sweet.

Kennedy Turns Two on Zoom — Her favorite “party animals” were there, wearing their birthday hats!

Two on Zoom Birthday Party — For her birthday cake, I made a vanilla sheet cake and cut it out in the shape of a big 2. Added white icing and sprinkles to top it off!

Kennedy Turns Two on Zoom! Birthday Party — Even though the pandemic canceled our original birthday party plans, we still had a great time with family and still made Kennedy’s second birthday special.
