It’s hard to believe my baby girl is one! We celebrated Kennedy’s birthday with a magical unicorn party at Pinkberry. The day was perfect with friends and family there to celebrate her “Unicorn Year”!
Enjoy these photos from her special day and I hope you find some fun ideas and inspiration for your next party planning adventure!
A big Happy Birthday Kennedy sign made with sidewalk chalk welcomed guests inside. The kids also got to draw on the sidewalk with the chalk as a party activity.
I wanted her birthday decorations to be magical and I think I nailed it! I made the backdrop out of a cardboard box, faux boxwood, and added two banners and a “one” balloon. Hung up tissue paper flowers around the board to create a magical backdrop for the cake table.
Such a fun and magical party to celebrate Kennedy’s first birthday.
Another view of the table. I think it turned out so cute!
Her birthday cake was a simple one-layer vanilla cake with whip cream icing (I figured that type of icing would be easier for her to eat) I bought a little cake bunting for decorations.
Kennedy enjoying a few bites from her cake before she tossed it on the ground! We brought her high chair from home to the party and wrapped a banner around the tray. As you can see, it fell off but it was still cute!
Easy unicorn decorations for the tableAll I did was turn sugar cones upside down in Pinkberry cups. It was the perfect unicorn touch and so easy to do!
The cake table included cute mini and regular-sized cupcakes with unicorn toppers (purchased at Pinkberry’s adorable party shop) as well as rainbow toppers purchased on Amazon. The cupcakes were delicious and the icing matched the color scheme (blue, green, pink)
Pin the horn on the unicorn was one of the activities at the party. This game was purchased at Pinkberry Magazine Street’s party pop up shop.
One fun thing guests got to do was discover their unicorn name! I purchased unicorn name tags so everyone could write them down and share! It was a fun unicorn touch.
Sitting in the little kid chairs with our sweet birthday girl. Pinkberry was the perfect spot for the party!
I can’t believe Kennedy is 1! Being a mom is the most rewarding role of a lifetime. I am so honored to be Kennedy’s mom.
