3 Ways to Make A Baby Shower Extra Special

My sisters did a great job hosting my baby shower in Georgia, especially when it came to those extra touches that made the shower even more special. Here are a few ideas that give any shower a personal touch:

ADVICE FOR BABY CARDS INSTEAD Of A GUEST BOOK: 

I love this! Everyone has advice and wisdom they love to share, why not have them share with baby to be? These cards have a series of questions on them the guest fills out. It was so fun to read them after the shower and I can’t wait to pass along these words of wisdom to Kennedy. How special!

BRING YOUR FAVORITE BABY BOOK:

I got this idea from a friend’s baby shower. On the back of the invitation, we asked guests to bring their favorite baby book for baby. It was so special to build Kennedy’s library with books loved by loved ones. Write a personal letter to baby inside the book and it’s a forever keepsake!

MAKE CUSTOM THANK YOU CARDS:

I wanted to share some of the photos from the shower, so I ordered custom thank you notes. I love personalizing cards (check out my pregnancy announcement post here) I used Shutterfly, and am so happy with how they turned out! I added a message from me and Lon on the back too.
