The Irish Channel is a neighborhood in New Orleans about 10 minutes upriver from downtown, nestled between the Mississippi River and the Magazine Street shopping district. It features old shotgun homes that ooze Southern charm and personality. Take a walk down any street in this colorful neighborhood and you will fall in love with the vibrant and unique front entrances that welcome guests into homes and add flair to the ambiance of the area.
